Margetta Shaw, 90, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Perryton, died Jan. 18, 2021. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery with Rev. Don Sides officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Former resident dies Jan. 7

Colleen Shirley Draper Jones, of Joshua, formerly of Perryton, died Jan. 7, 2021 in Cleburne. No services were scheduled. She is survived by her husband, Thad Jones, of Joshua; one son, Theron Jones of Joshua; and one daughter, Ruhoma Tickner of San Angelo.

Godino rites are held

Alfredo P. Godino, 83, of Booker died Jan. 12, 2021. Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 15, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Booker with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial followed at Heart Cemetery in Booker.

Minta Wilson

Minta Wilson, 80, of Perryton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021. A memorial service was held Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Perryton, Texas with Rev. Mark Metzger officiating.

Marcos Manuel Vigil

Marcos Manuel Vigil, 76 of Perryton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canadian, with Msgr. Michael Colwell officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.

Gregg Flaming, 70, died Jan. 9, 2021. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan 13, at Community Worship Center with Rev. Kevin Britton officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Darrin Flowers

Darrin Flowers, 55, of Perryton passed away on Jan. 8, 2021 in Perryton. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at Victory Family Church with Rev. Marlon Sparks, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Donald Ray Scott

Donald Ray Scott passed on Dec. 26, 2020 in San Antonio, at the age of 85. He was born in Scott City, Kansas to Preston and Thelma Scott Feb. 7, 1935. He grew up in Perryton, graduating from Perryton High School in 1953.
