Margetta Shaw

Margetta Shaw, 90, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Perryton, died Jan. 18, 2021.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery with Rev. Don Sides officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

She was born June 24, 1930 in Shamrock, and worked as a telephone operator and attended Bethany Nazarene College after high school graduation. She married Walter G. Shaw on April 18, 1952. They moved to Perryton in 1959.

She worked at Perryton Equity for 20 years, and worked with her husband in their rental property business. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Floyd and Odessa Hudson; and one grandson.

She is survived by two children, Linda Sides and Jack Shaw, both of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Ella Spear of Happy and Janice Lundberg of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.
