Rangers pick up exciting home victory

It came down to the final buzzer on Friday night in Perryton as the Rangers hosted the Dumas Demons for a barn burner. The game was a back-and-forth affair with neither team being able to distance themselves with a big lead. The Rangers kept their cool late in the game to secure the victory by the score of 52-50.

It was another week with very little crimes reported, but again the Ochiltree County Jail was busy. Arthur Mabry, 1518 Indiana, reported a 75-inch flat screen television had been stolen from his residence.

Rettes continue to roll

The Rangerette basketball team continued district play, with another win on Friday in Perryton. The Dumas Demonettes came to town to face the Rettes for one of the newest district rivalries. Perryton spread out the scoring with three Rettes connecting for double digits as they won easily by the final score of 64-54.

Lady Deputies JV Basketball

The Lady Deputies traveled to Pampa Tuesday evening for a district game with the Lady Harvesters Junior Varsity basketball team. Perryton won the game 25-10.

The Rangerette basketball team continues to overcome adversity and bounced back into the winning column on Tuesday. The Rettes traveled to Pampa to take on the Lady Harvesters after a tough loss to Canyon.

Rangers open district play with a victory

The Ranger basketball team entered a tough environment for their first district match-up on Tuesday in Pampa. Perryton bounced back from a first quarter deficit to control the final three quarters and pick up the win going away by the final score of 47-37.

Rangerettes fall to Canyon Lady Eagles

In a lopsided game on Friday night, the Rangerette basketball team played hard and held their heads up high. They faced a very talented Canyon Lady Eagle team on the road and were defeated by the final score of 70-7.
