Cold front brings cool temps, rain

A cold snap on Tuesday brought plunging temperatures, high winds, and misting rain to Ochiltree County. Though the rain was not heavy, it fell for most of Tuesday and overnight on Wednesday morning, which added up to some decent precipitation.

County’s active COVID-19 cases have dropped to 10

Ochiltree County’s total COVID-19 cases may have risen slightly, but the active cases have fallen. The county’s total cases have risen from 110 to 111 since last Thursday evening. The number of active cases have fallen from 13 on Thursday to 10.

Senior Center sets fund-raiser The Ochiltree County Senior Citizens Association will have its annual Fall Fund-raiser on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Senior Citizen Center. Cajun cuisine will be served. There will also be live entertainment and door prizes.
