Bike reported stolen

A couple of thefts and an incident of vandalism were reported during the week. A boy’s bicycle was reported stolen from 806 S. Baylor. The bike is camouflage in color with green tires. It was valued at around $120. A large window was broken out at 1301 S. Main, doing around $1,000 in damage.

State reports increase of COVID-19 cases in county

The State of Texas’ COVID-19 numbers for Ochiltree County rose this week. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, the county has had 35 new cases of the virus in the last 14 days, an increase of 75% over the previous 14 days.

The cosmetology department of Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus, and The Seasons Assisted Living Center have started a new program in which residents at The Seasons visit the cosmetology annex at the college to get manicures and pedicures.
