School district sees higher valuations

The Perryton School Board heard some more good news at its meeting Tuesday evening. Chief Financial Officer Brittney Meraz told the board the district had received the property tax valuations, and those valuations were up 26% from last year. She added that could drop the district’s tax rate to 85.
