Night quilt guild meets

The Friendship Quilt Guild night group met Oct. 10 at Community Worship Center. The quilt guild challenge for the year was a wall hanging or other home decor for a holiday other than Christmas. Winners for wall hanging were Connie Rabe, first; Sheril Kelley, second and Tina Bussard, third.

Schickedanz, Hernandez are Rotary Students of Month for October

The Perryton Rotary Club recognized Carlos Hernandez and Maddie Schickedanz as the October Students of the Month. Schickedanz is the daughter of Jason and Amber Schickedanz. She she has two siblings, Jake and Sydney.
