FPC to hold hazmat endorsement course Frank Phillips College Allen Campus will hold an entry level driver training hazmat endorsement course Jan. 15-28. The two-week, theory only course is selfpaced with online curriculum and assessments. The cost is $125. Call 806-648-1450 to register.

United Way drive is at 74% of goal

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2024 fund drive added more contributions toward its goal. As of Tuesday, the campaign had raised $69,750 which is 74% of the $94,300 goal. Six new 100% Companies have joined the list, bringing the total to 13.

PISD board hires bond project firm

In a special meeting Nov. 28, the Perryton School Board hired a firm for the bond project, and heard the audit report for 2022-23. The board unanimously hired Huseman Builders Inc. to complete the bond project. Supt.
