Roberto Romero
Roberto Romero Estrada, 79, of Perryton, died Feb. 20, 2026 in Amarillo.
Services were held Monday, Feb. 23, at Iglesia La Pena de Horeb with Rev. Jose Avalos officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
He was born May 25, 1945 in Cajoncitos, Chihuahua, Mexico, and married Flora Munoz on Jan. 5, 1973.
He was a farm laborer and a member of Iglesia La Pena de Horeb.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sofia Estrada and Pedro Romero; three brothers; one sister; and one grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Munoz de Romero; one son, Alfredo Romero of Perryton; three daughters, Bertha Alicia Romero and Guadalupe Romero, both of Perryton, and Diana Romero of Mexico; three brothers; one sister; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to one’s favorite charity.
