Amparo Nava Rosales, 104, of Perryton, died Aug. 12, 2026.
Rosary and vigil was held Thursday, Aug. 13. Funeral mass was held Friday, Aug. 15, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Booker. Burial was in Heart Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1921 in Chalchihuites, Zacatecas, Mexico. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis; one son, Felix Rosales; her parents Leandro Nava and Ana Maria Valdez; and three grandchildren, Abraham Rosales, Daniel Rosales and Hugo Rosales.
She is survived by seven sons, Jose Rosales, Jesus Rosales, Cecelio Rosales and Manuel Rosales, all of Booker, Pascual Rosales and Jose Rosales of Mexico and Martin Rosales of Perryton; three daughters, Ana Maria Salas and Maria Elena Rosales, both of Perryton and Luisa Avila of Canadian; 55 grandchildren; and over 150 great-grandchildren.
