Barnes to speak Thursday Kelly Barnes of Choctaw, OK is the next speaker in the Leadership Perryton series. His session, “Make It A Habit,” will be Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Frank Phillips College Allen Campus.

Deadline approaching for USDA COVID-19 program

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) reminds farmers and ranchers to apply for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2 (CFAP 2) by Dec. 11. The program provides direct relief to producers facing market disruptions and associated costs because of COVID-19.

WINTER FISHING

Staff from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department visited Wolf Creek Park on Tuesday to stock Lake Fryer with about a thousand rainbow trout. Lake Fryer will be stocked with another thousand rainbow trout on Dec. 30.
