Three Perryton High School choir members have advanced to Area competition. The pre-Area auditions were held virtually this year, with students recording their performances and sending them in to be judged by area choir directors on Dec. 2.

Active COVID-19 cases in county now over 200

The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Ochiltree County has risen over 200 for the first time. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s total COVID-19 cases now stand at 679, up from 602 on Thursday afternoon.

Perryton-Ochiltree County Crime Stoppers needs information this week to solve a theft case and an incident of vandalism. On Nov. 5, it was reported to the police department that while a Pizza Hut delivery was being made at the Baymont Hotel, the delivery sign was taken from the roof of the vehicle.
