Attempted break-in is investigated

An attempted burglary and a fire were reported to police during the week. A burglary was reported at Kay’s Beauty Salon, 217 SW Third. The suspect or suspects broke the back door to enter the building. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Rifle and Pistol Club sets annual meeting The Perryton Rifle and Pistol Club will hold their Annual Members Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. at the indoor range south of the Ochiltree County Expo Building. The club will be electing officers and discussing new and ongoing projects.
COVID-19 VACCINES MAKE IT TO COUNTY Ochiltree County Hospital District received the first doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine last week and were able to administer 120 vaccine doses to hospital employees, Perryton EMS, and residents and employees at The Seasons. Dr. Jennifer McGaughy was one of the first county doctors to get the vaccine, with Judy Valenzuela, LVN and employee health nurse for the hospital, administering the injection.

DPS to increase enforcement for the New Year’s holiday
