STOCK SHOW OPENS AT EXPO

The Ochiltree County Junior Livestock Association Stock Show and Sale officially opened Friday morning at the Ochiltree County Expo Center as FFA and 4-H students from all over the area showed up to exhibit their steers, heifers, pigs, goats, and sheep.

First rabies case of year discovered

Ochiltree County has marked its first positive rabies case for 2021. Dr. Randy Skaggs, rabies control officer, said a horse in a feed yard in the eastern part of Ochiltree county has tested positive for rabies. He added there was one human exposure.
