The Perryton High School track teams traveled to Bushland for the annual Falcon Relay track meet last week. The meet turned out to be a dual meet between the Bushland teams and the Perryton squads. Ranger Pablo Perez had an outstanding meet.

Active COVID-19 cases rising slowly

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County rose slightly this week, compared to last Thursday. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 stand at 15, up from 11 cases on Thursday afternoon.

Six Perryton Rangers have been named to this year’s All District 4-4A Basketball team. Making the All District first team was sophomore Daxton Ridgon. Earning honorable mention honors were Cuyler Feger and Tad Pshigoda.

OSWCD sets Appreciation Day The board of directors of the Ochiltree Soil and Water Conservation District will host their 17th annual Conservation Appreciation Day on Thursday, April 1. A meal will be served from noon to 1 p.m. at the Museum of the Plains.
