Crime Stoppers golf tourney set

The 28th Annual Crime Stoppers Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, July 24, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Entry fee is $50 per player for the 18 holes, two person scramble. A $500 cash prize will be awarded for closest to the pin on no. 11, and mulligans will be available for $10.

NEPTFCU holding school supply drive

The Northeast Panhandle Teacher Federal Credit Union, 211 S. Amherst, is accepting donations for basic school essentials to contribute to students and teachers purchasing supplies this year. Donations will be accepted though Aug. 3, then will be distributed to Perryton schools.

PAC sign up for fall sports underway

The Perryton Activity Center is currently signing up youth for football, volleyball and soccer. Youth football begins Sept. 4. Divisions are flag football, grades 1-2 (no pads); junior football, grades 3-4; and senior football, grades 5-6. Cost is $35 for PAC members and $65 for nonmembers.

First Baptist schedules VBS

First Baptist Church at 415 S. Baylor in Perryton has set this summer’s Vacation Bible School for July 25-29 from 6-8:30 p.m. for children ranging from age four up to completing sixth grade. The event is free for all kids.
