The first footprints at Grauman’s Chinese Theater (now Mann’s Chinese Theater), were made by Norma Talmadge in 1927. Legend has it that she accidentally stepped in wet concrete outside the building.

The Ochiltree County Farmers Market will be open for just two more Saturdays before the season ends. The farmers market, located in the parking lot at Perryton National Bank, will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4 and Sept. 11.
