Parkinson’s support group to meet
Perryton Area Parkinson’s Disease Support Group will meet at noon on Friday, Sept. 10,at New Hope Fellowship, 2821 S Ash, in Perryton. Lunch will be provided. The program will be given by Tutti Burkett with Abbott.
Equipping cattle producers with the knowledge and tools to improve their bottom line is the goal of the Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course, which is coordinated by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and held on the Texas A&M University campus each August.
Ochiltree County’s active COVID-19 cases have risen again this week.
According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 have risen to 37, up from 34 last Thursday afternoon.
The Perryton ISD will host a vaccine clinic for students later this week.
The PISD will offer a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for interested PISD students ages 12 and up.
The optional vaccine will be available on Friday afternoon, Sept. 10, from 4-8 p.m.
Board members from the Museum of the Plains have been proud to show off new museum signage by the museum and elsewhere around the city that help direct visitors to the facility.
The American Legion Post 254 has changed its monthly meeting to Monday, Sept. 13, at the Senior Citizen Center instead of Labor Day, Sept. 6.. A meal will be served at 6 p.m., and the meeting itself will begin at 7 p.m. All veterans are welcome to attend.
