More residences burglarized

Residential burglaries, an animal attack, and vandalism were reported to police during the week. Jessica Lopez, 312 N. Jefferson, reported a burglary at her residence. She was having an air conditioning unit installed, and had left the house unlocked for the technician.

Rifle and Pistol Club sets monthly meeting The Perryton Rifle and Pistol Club will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. at the indoor range south of the Expo Center. The club will be discussing new and ongoing projects.

County’s COVID-19 cases up sharply

Ochiltree County’s COVID-19 cases have risen sharply since last week. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 have risen to 57, up from 46 on Friday afternoon.
