Farm and ranch estate planning workshop set Dec. 14 in Canyon

An Estate Planning Workshop will be held on Dec. 14 by theT exas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of fice in Randall County. The free program will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Kuhlman Extension Center, 200 N. Brown Road, Canyon. The event will conclude with lunch courtesy of Happy State Bank.

Angel Tree donations wanted for needy kids Panhandle Crisis Center’s Angel Trees have been set up at United, Lowe’s, Family Dollar, and Walls. To donate, simply remove an angel ornament from the tree. On the back of each ornament, you’ll find the gender, age, and size of a specific child.

The City of Perryton set up their “Giving Tree” again to help local senior citizens who have difficulty paying their winter heating bills. The city’s Giving Tree has become a local tradition for this time of year.
BARNES SPEAKS AT LEADERSHIP PERRYTON SERIES Kelly Barnes of Choctaw, OK, was the latest speaker in the Leadership Perryton series. He spoke on “Make It a Habit” at the Frank Phillips College Allen Campus on Thursday evening. The seminar was sponsored by First National Bank and Alpar Energy. United Way drive reaches 87% of goal

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2022 fund drive continues to make progress, and is now at 87% of its $92,000 goal. The drive has raised $80,123 so far. No new 100% Companies were added.
