United Way tops 80% of goal

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2022 fund drive made great progress the last two weeks, and is now at 80% of its $92,000 goal. As of late last week, the campaign had raised $73,611. Five new 100% Companies were also added to the list, bringing the total to 20.

City’s sales tax payment is up 13% for November

The City of Perryton received some good news about its sales tax receipts this month. The November sales tax allocation was $282,379, which is almost 13% higher than November 2020. For the year, the city is just slightly behind payments to date, .22%, with $2.45 million so far.
