Allen Campus students awarded scholarships

The Frank Phillips College Annual Scholarship Banquet was held at the Borger Campus on Sept. 28. During the event, Allen Campus students received scholarship award recognition. In front of a large crowd, students were called to the stage and presented with certificates.

Constitutional Public meeting is Oct. 19 The Constitutional Public will hold a current affairs discussion on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Frank Phillips College Allen Campus Conference Center.

United Way drive tops 46% of goal

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2022 fund drive continued to gather steam last week, and is now at 46% of its $92,000 goal. As of Friday, the drive had raised $42,384. There were also four new 100% Companies, meaning every employee contributed to United Way, bringing the total to 11.

Early voting starts Monday in amendment election

Early voting starts Monday, Oct. 18, for the Special Constitutional Amendment Election. The early voting will run through Friday, Oct. 29. Early voting is conducted in the County Clerk’s office, on the second floor of the Ochiltree County Courthouse.
