Texans will go to the polls this Tuesday, to decide the fate of eight proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. that day. Voting sites are: Precinct 1, City Hall; Precinct 2, Expo Center; Precinct 3, Church of Christ; and Precinct 4, Victory Family Church.
Perryton High School’s Ranger Band got a send-off from the community on Friday morning as they departed to compete in the UIL area marching competition in Abilene. The band received all I’s to advance to the area round.

During the annual awards ceremony for Ochiltree County 4-H at the Expo Center on Oct. 11, awards were presented for Outstanding Leader and Friend of 4-H.
An alleged threat, a dog bite and an obnoxious customer were among the offenses investigated during the week.
Police received a report from a truck driver that he had been threatened by a driver brandishing a gun as he attempted to pass the driver.
Band send off set Friday
A send off will be held Friday, Oct. 29, beginning at 10 a.m. for the Ranger Band, as they travel to Abilene to compete in the UIL area marching competition. Everyone is encourage to line Main Street with posters and signs to wish them good luck.
