Perryton-Ochiltree County Crime Stoppers needs information this week to solve a case of damage to a gas meter. On Oct. 22, it was reported to the police department that a gas meter was struck and damaged in the 300 block of North Jefferson.

Food manager certification training set Nov. 3-4 in Pampa

A professional food manager certification training course will be offered Nov. 3-4 by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Gray County. The program will be at the Gray County Annex, 12125 Frederic St., Pampa. The fee will be $125, and preregistration is due Nov. 2.

United Way drive tops 61%

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2022 fund drive added to its total last week, bringing it to 61% of its $92,000 goal. By late last week, the drive had raised $55,311 in contributions. One new 100% Company was also added, Douglas Kile, PC, CPA, bringing the total to 15.

Active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County drop again

Active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County have dropped lower since midweek. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 have dropped to 55, down from 61 on Tuesday.
