The Cosmetology program at Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus held their second annual Fantasy Hair Show before the Thanksgiving break. The show gives students the opportunity to show off their skills and to showcase their creative design and imaginative interpretation.

There was a time not long ago that everyone in the Texas Panhandle expected to see Marty Devers at the National Finals Rodeo. He’s a cowboy, and a couple of decades ago, he was just that good. He was a national champion bulldogger in high school, then parlayed that into two national college titles.

COVID-19 cases in county plunge again

Active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County have fallen again. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 dropped to 13, down from 22 last Thursday afternoon.

Band boosters to hold fundraiser banquet

The Perryton Band Booster Club will hold a special fundraising banquet in December. The December to Remember Holiday Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 11, from 6-8 p.m. inside the Community Worship Center. Formal attire is recommended for the banquet.
