Chamber decides to discontinue forums

The Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce and its legislative affairs committee, has decided to discontinue holding the local candidate forums.

State’s COVID numbers for county on rise

The Texas Department of State Health Services is recording higher numbers for COVID-19 in Ochiltree County. According to data from TDSHS, the county has had 212 new cases of the virus in the last 14 days, an increase of 63% over the prior 14 days.

Package stolen

It was another quiet week for law enforcement, with only one report available. A residence at 1318 Eton had a package stolen from the front porch. It was valued at around $200. There is a suspect in the case.
