On March 2, 2022, the Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Department had outstanding warrants on the following people: Wesley Snow, white male. No personal information was available. Last known address was Borger. There is one misdemeanor warrant for Snow for issuance of bad checks.

Criminal activity was very sparse during the week. Budge Rawlins reported a vehicle stolen. It was later recovered in Borger. There is a suspect in the case.

Council awards bid for SCADA system

The Perryton City Council awarded the bid for a comprehensive new utility department system, and heard the first reading on a golf course ordinance at its meeting Tuesday evening.

Hospital Board approves expanded remodel at The Seasons building

The Ochiltree County Hospital District’s Board of Directors met on Monday evening, Feb. 28, in the conference center at Ochiltree General Hospital. Among other items on the agenda, the board approved a plan to expand renovations and remodeling at The Seasons Assisted Living Center.
