Business burglarized

A business burglary topped activity for the week. A business at 119 N. Main was burglarized. Stolen were credit cards, check books, an iPad, iWatch, a laptop and cash. Estimated total value was $5,000.

Yeary to retire from FirstBank Southwest

FirstBank Southwest president Brady Yeary will retire in April, after 40 years with the bank. A community retirement reception is planned for Thursday, March 24, from 1-3 p.m. in the bank lobby in Perryton.

Another COVID-19 death reported in county

One new fatality from the COVID-19 virus has been reported this week in Ochiltree County, bringing the county’s total to 48 deaths. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, the newest fatality occurred around the date of Feb. 24.
