School board hears good report on Ranger Roundup

Updates on several projects and activities were given to the Perryton School Board at its meeting Tuesday evening. Technology director Rodney Throgmorton reported on the new phone systems being installed throughout the district.

COVID cases in county still low

The numbers of COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County remain very low this week. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, the county has had only one new case of the virus in the last 14 days, a decrease of 98% over the prior 14 days.

Dumcum rites held

William Roger Dumcum, 69, of Booker, died April 6, 2022. Services were held Tuesday, April 12, at Overton Cemetery in Beaver County, OK. He was born May 11, 1952 in Dallas, and graduated from Booker High School in 1971. He married Connie Karber on Sept. 6, 2002 in Perryton.
