Church of Christ Clothing House open again The Church of Christ Clothing House at 822 S. Drake is again open for business. Hours are Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to noon and 6-7 p.m. and Thursdays, 6-7 p.m. Donations are being accepted.

Students from Wright Elementary School visited Perry Memorial Library on Monday evening for the school’s “Blast Off to Summer Reading” event, dedicated to promoting literacy and reading.

PHS seniors receive scholarships at awards assembly

Local scholarships were awarded to Perryton High School seniors at the annual awards assembly on Wednesday morning, with the presentation of 75 scholarships from local businesses, organizations, and individuals. Several honors were also announced.

Tips still needed on vehicle burglary

Perryton-Ochiltree County Crime Stoppers still needs information this week to solve a vehicle burglary. On or around April 25, a vehicle was burglarized in the 100 block of SW 15th. Taken from the vehicle was a white box containing 25 Norriseal Wellmark Mizer valves. Estimated value is $7,000.

FPC Allen Campus students recognized at awards ceremony

The Frank Phillips College 2021-22 Academic Awards Ceremony and Nurses Pinning was held at the Borger Campus May 5. During the event, Allen Campus students received various awards and recognition. In front of a large crowd, students were called to the stage and presented with the honors.
