City taking applications for H-M funding

The City of Perryton is now taking applications from organizations seeking to apply for hotel-motel occupancy tax funds. Applications are available at City Hall. The application will cover events or projects happening between Oct. 1, 2022 through Sept. 30, 2023.

On May 25, 2022, the Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Department had outstanding warrants on the following people: Ethan Collier, no personal information was available. Last known address was Perryton. There are two misdemeanor warrants for Collier for issuance of bad checks.

BEST CITIZENS AT PHS—At the annual Perryton High School awards assembly on May 18, students in each class were honored as the Best Citizens.

Dog bites reported

Several dog bites were reported to police during the week. The bites occurred in several different areas of town. According to the report, the people bitten were out for a walk. Luckily most of the dogs had their shots.
