County’s COVID cases are steady

After a couple of weeks of rising cases, Ochiltree County’s COVID-19 numbers are now holding steady. According to Chief Nursing Officer Jyme Kinnard, RN, Ochiltree General Hospital completed 49 total COVID-19 tests in the last seven days, with nine positive cases, unchanged from last week.

The Internal Revenue Service has announced an increase in the optional standard mileage rate for the final six months of 2022. Taxpayers may use the optional standard mileage rates to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business and certain other purposes.
