City’s sales tax payment in June is up over 11%

The City of Perryton’s sales tax revenues got another boost in June, with another large payment. The city received $237,159 for the month, up 11.5% from last June. Its payments to date of $1.6 million are almost 26% more than in 2021.

Coffee Memorial Blood Center held a blood drive on Tuesday afternoon at Frank Phillips College Allen Campus. The drive brought in 45 donors, who donated 33 units of whole blood, two units of double red cell blood, and three units of plasma.

Commissioners approve laptops for patrol vehicles

The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court met on Monday morning at the Ochiltree County Courthouse. Among other items on the agenda, the commissioners approved the purchase of new laptop computers for the Sheriff’s Department’s patrol vehicles.
