The Pride of Perryton Ranger Band held a March-a-Thon last Saturday morning as they took a three-mile march from the high school, to Williams Intermediate, over to Stark Park, across to Perryton Junior High School, and then back to PHS.

Chamber sets cookoff, cornhole tourney The Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce will hold a chili cookoff and a cornhole tournament on Saturday, Oct. 8. The chili cookoof will be from 11:30 a.m-1 p.m. at the Expo Center. Categories are Hot and Spicy and Homestyle; chili must be homemade.

Rain returns to Ochiltree County

Ochiltree County got two rain showers this week, with residents within the Perryton city limits getting most of their rain on Wednesday evening, while everyone outside the city limits received their rain on Thursday evening.
