Accident leads to arrest

An incident of a reckless driver and a fraud case were investigated by police during the week. On Oct. 23, around 7:20 p.m. the Perryton Police Department responded to a call about a one vehicle accident in the 200 block of NE Loop 143.

Commissioners address toll tags

The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court met on Monday, Oct. 24, at the Ochiltree County Courthouse. The commissioners approved a plan to pay fees on toll tags between court sessions.

Herald to become weekly on Nov. 1

After much consideration and discussion, the Herald will become a weekly, beginning Nov. 1. With rising postage, printing and fuel costs, among others, the transition to a weekly will be more cost effective.
