UNITED WAY DONATION— The Ochiltree United Way received $4,776, part of the proceeds from the 2022 Jacky Pierce Charity Class Golf Tournament, held in Lubbock. Sponsored by United Supermarkets, the proceeds provided $500,000 in funding for 27 nonprofit charities in Texas and New Mexico. The check was presented to the United Way board at its last meeting. PHS WELDERS COMPETE IN LENORAH— Perryton High School sent men’s and women’s welding teams to compete in Lenorah at the end of October. Both teams took first place in their divisions, and five PHS students earned their 2F welding certification.
