United Way drive reaches 51% of goal

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2023 fund drive had another nice increase in contributions at the end of the week. The campaign has now raised $48,111, which is 51% of the $94,300 goal. Three new 100% Companies were also added to the list, bringing the total to 12.

Wildlife Symposium set Oct. 28 in Pampa

Texas Parks and Wildlife and the Gray County AgriLife Extension Service will host a Wildlife Symposium on Friday, Oct. 28. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration, and the last presentation will be at 3 p.m. The symposium will be held at the Pampa EDC, 200 N. Ballard St.

Crime takes a holiday

Crime appeared to take a break over the past week, with only one report. A dog bite was reported in the 300 block of SE Santa Fe.
