The City of Perryton offered a lifeguard class for students during Spring Break, allowing students to learn how to safely rescue swimmers in distress in swimming pools and how to perform CPR. Two more sessions of the class will be held, with the city’s water park scheduled to open in late May.

The Internal Revenue Service reminds taxpayers that the “Where’s My Refund?” tool on IRS.gov is the most convenient way to check the status of 2022, 2021 and 2020 tax refunds. IRS2Go, the mobile app, offers another way for users to check their refund status.

I have to admit, it was kind of sad watching the Trejo Contracting crew drive off last Friday. They were a great bunch of guys to work with, always laughing and cutting up. Plus, they did an amazing job.

Pulled pork fundraiser set for Pathways A fundraiser for the Perryton Pathways scholarship program will be held on Thursday, March 23, from 5-7 p.m. at Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus. A pulled pork meal will be served for $10 per plate. Dine in, take out and delivery options will be available.
