Coffee Memorial Blood Center in Amarillo held a blood drive on Tuesday afternoon at Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus. The drive had a goal of 19 donations, but only had a total of 12 successful donations. Council okays hiring new personnel
A tractor pulling a tandem disc plow accidentally caused a power outage across much of Perryton on Tuesday morning after its extended wings became tangled in power lines on SW 24th Avenue near Western Equipment. The tractor pulled a number of electric lines down and snapped a power pole. Electric service was out for several hundred homes for less than two hours before Xcel Energy crews were able to restore power.
