RECORD BOOKAWARDS— Ochiltree County 4-H’s annual awards ceremony was held Oct. 9 at the Expo Center. Awards were presented for record books by 4-H members. The award is given to every 4-H member who completes a record book of their experiences in 4-H. Members who completed record books included, from left, Rylan Oquin and Kile Merrick.

FRIENDS OF 4-H— During the annual awards ceremony for Ochiltree County 4-H at the Expo Center on Monday night, awards were presented for Friends of 4-H for individuals and businesses that go above and beyond to support 4-H programs with donations of time and material resources. RIBBON-CUTTING HELD FOR NEW WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT CENTER— A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last Wednesday for the grand opening of Frank Phillips College’s Workforce Development Center, at 1206 SW 9th Avenue. The center lets students at Frank Phillips College and Perryton Independent School District earn trade-based certifications in welding and diesel mechanics as well as complete Entry Level Driver Training for Commercial Drivers License testing right here in Perryton.
