FOSSIL PRESERVATION—During Archeology Day earlier this month at the Museum of the Plains, kids and parents got to learn more about archeology and participate in activities like ledger art, painted teepees, spear throwing with an atlatl spear, clay pottery, and an archeology dig. Pictured are museum director Stacey Brown supervising Jax Hinshaw, age 5, as he learns about preserving fossils with resin.
