Recent Ochiltree County Jail activity: Jesse Paul Lopez, 56, was arrested on a felony fugitive from justice warrant out of Colorado. He was released to Colorado officials.

Storms bring rain to Ochiltree County

Thunderstorms blew through the region Monday evening, bringing some rain to Ochiltree County, though not enough to break the county’s latest drought.KEYE Radio’s official rainfall total was .57 of an inch of rain.Elsewhere around the county, Ron Stinson in Waka reported .86 of an inch of rainfall.

PATHWAYS TO PULLED PORK

Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus hosted a pulled pork dinner fundraiser last Thursday evening for the Perryton Pathways scholarship program. Hungry diners had dine in, take out, and delivery options available, as well as a silent auction. Almost $7,000 was raised for the Pathways program.
