Woman’s body found northeast of town

The body of a woman has been found northeast of Perryton.According to Ochiltree County Sheriff Terry Bouchard, the Sheriff’s Office received a report on Tuesday evening of a deceased person at a location northeast of the city.The deceased person was described as a white middleaged woman.

Jennie June Club book sale at library The Jennie June Club is holding a book sale at the Perry Memorial Library running through the entire month of October, now with discounted prices. The sale will be open during regular library hours.

United Way drive is now at 42%

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2025 fund drive continued to show progress.As of Monday, the campaign had raised $40,317 which is 42% of the $96,000 goal One more 100% Company was added to the list, Perryton Activity Center, meaning every employee also contributed to United Way.

OGH board approves department expansions

The Ochiltree County Hospital District’s board of directors met on Monday.Among items on the agenda, the board members approved an expansion for the Respiratory Therapy and Radiology departments in order to give both more space to work in.
