WELDING STUDENTS COMPETE AT ANTON— Welding students at Perryton High School took part in a competitive build-off at Anton on Oct. 12. The students were divided into a Blue Team and a Maroon Team. The Blue Team placed second and qualified for State competition in May in Huntsville. The Maroon Team came in third. Rangers top Levelland Lobos 43-35 in double overtime in district game

The Rangers notched their district victory with a double overtime win against the Levelland Lobos on the road last Friday night.The win improves the Rangers district record to 12, and their overall record to 3-6. Perryton is off this Friday, and will take on the Borger Bulldogs on Nov.

Happy Halloween! It sure isn’t the same without Larry McLain egging me on. He was always such a good sport and so stinkin’ funny. Nothing embarrassed that man. He could dish it out and he could take it just as easily. There wasn’t a day he came in that he didn’t make us all laugh.
