United Way drive tops 66% of goal

TheOchiltreeUnitedWay’s 2025 fund drive has now reached 66% of its $96,000 goal. As of Tuesday the campaign had raised $63,976.One new 100% Companies added to the list: the Panhandle Crisis Center, bringing the total to 15 so far.

Arts & Crafts Festival set Nov. 23-24

The Perryton Satellite Center’s Arts & Crafts Festival will be held on Nov. 23-24, at the Expo Center. It is the 54th year for the event.The hours for the show will be Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 24, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Gilliland to speak ThursdaySteve Gilliland of Mocksville, NC will speak Thursday, Nov. 7, as part of the Leadership Perryton speaker series. Gilliland will present a session called “It Is What You Make It” at Frank Phillips College Allen Campus. Registration will begin at 6 6 p.m.

4-H members qualify for state competition

Thirteen Ochiltree 4-H members recently competed at the Panhandle District 4H Roundup Contests with two of them qualifying for State 4-H Competition to be held next June in College Station.
