Everyone is invited to gather at the courthouse on Sept. 15 at 7 pm for a “Patriots Call to Duty” meeting. The presentation will consist of the Republican and Democratic platforms, and what we can do to save the “Republic”.

Schollenbarger, Medina named Rotary Students of the Month

Perryton High School seniors Jocelyn Medina and Jacob Schollenbarger have been chosen as the first Students of the Month for the school year by the Perryton Rotary Club. They attended a Rotary Club meeting and shared their thoughts about life in high school and their future plans.

On Saturday Aug. 22, thousands of Perryton residents turned out to watch the Wheatheart of the Nation Celebration parade on Main Street. There were two winners in the commercial category, one of which was Kool Kidz Daycare.

Eta Alpha chapter installs new officers

The Eta Alpha chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma met Aug. 24 at New Hope Fellowship. The executive board served salads for the meal. The meeting was conducted by Renee Lee, president. Ruth Schoenhals gave the opening thought.
