Four women and their dogs recently completed novice and intermediate levels of Rally Competition, which is sanctioned by the American Kennel Club. Being the first PACT Therapy Dogs to complete the course, they celebrated with a lunch at the Lobo Restaurant in Wolf Creek Park.

Jennie June Club opens year with luncheon

The Jennie June Club met Sept. 9 at the Senior Citizen Center for a noon luncheon. Hostesses were Carol McGarraugh, Penny Clark and Jo Humphrey. Clark, president, called the meeting to order and led the group in reading the collect.

The night group of the Friendship Quilt Guild met Sept. 8 at Community Worship Center. Incoming officers for the 2020-21 year were installed.

Day quilt guild has program on African quilts

The Friendship Quilt Guild day group met Sept. 9 at Community Worship Center for its annual welcome new guests and members meeting. New officers for 2020-21 were also installed.

Oh what a night. The crowd, the food, the music and the door prizes...we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. Valarie Davis is our fundraiser chairman, and boy o boy did she knock it out of the park. Her decorations set the tone the minute you walked in the door.
