Rangerettes secure tough road win

The Rangerette basketball team continues to overcome adversity and bounced back into the winning column on Tuesday. The Rettes traveled to Pampa to take on the Lady Harvesters after a tough loss to Canyon.

Rangers open district play with a victory

The Ranger basketball team entered a tough environment for their first district match-up on Tuesday in Pampa. Perryton bounced back from a first quarter deficit to control the final three quarters and pick up the win going away by the final score of 47-37.

Rangerettes fall to Canyon Lady Eagles

In a lopsided game on Friday night, the Rangerette basketball team played hard and held their heads up high. They faced a very talented Canyon Lady Eagle team on the road and were defeated by the final score of 70-7.

PJH 8 th Grade Girls “B” Basketball

The Perryton Junior High eighth grade girls B team hosted Spearman on Jan. 11, and cruised to a 36-18 win. After the first period, Perryton led 11-1, and by the half, they had a 23-7 advantage. Scoring was more even in the second half.

Rangers tame Mustangs

The Perryton Ranger basketball team opposed the Wheeler Mustangs for a game on Tuesday. Despite being in a much smaller school division, the Mustangs put up a formidable battle. Strong second and fourth quarters allowed the Rangers to win by the final score of 51-40.

Lady Deputies JV Basketball

The Lady Deputies opened district play Tuesday evening in Perryton with a big win over Borger. The Perryton ladies took charge of the game at the opening buzzer and never let up. After one quarter of play, the Lady Deputies led 16-4.

Rettes open district play with a big win

The Rangerette basketball team opened the district season on Tuesday at home with a huge win. The Borger Lady Bulldogs came to town to face the Rettes and were never in the contention to win the game after the opening tip.

Rangers drop close game

The Ranger basketball team hit the hardwood again after the Christmas break and hosted the Randall Raiders. Three-quarters of the game was neck and neck. An explosive second quarter propelled the Raiders to a close victory by the final score of 58-51.

Lady Deputies JV Basketball

The Lady Deputies got in a couple of hard fought games before the holiday break. On Friday evening the junior varsity girls team from Dalhart traveled to Perryton for a game that is always a strong rivalry.

Rangerettes continue to battle injury bug

Injuries continue to take their toll on the Rangerette basketball team as they prepare for the upcoming district season. Two starters are out of the lineup due to knee injuries, which is hampering Perryton’s offensive production.
