Arlie Eugene Hargrove, 82, of Perryton, died Friday, July 19, 2024 in Perryton. Private family graveside services were held July 22 at Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Arlie was born Aug. 25, 1941 to Woodrow Wilson Hargrove and Virgie Thornburg Hargrove. He married Cynthia Shiplett on May 8, 1961 and was a lifelong resident of Perryton.
He was a machinist and a professional painter by trade. In his early years he broke and trained horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse, one great-grandchild, Derrick Harvey, and one sister and one brother.
He is survived by two sons, Kenny Hargrove of Austin and Lonnie Hargrove of Perryton; two daugthers, Pam Harvey and Cindy Boxwell, both of Perryton, nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
