Allan Dale Randall Sr.

Allan Dale Randall Sr. passed away on March 23, 2025 in Tomball, TX, after fighting the battle of pancreatic cancer for a year and two months, at the age of 69.

Born in Oklahoma City on February 16, 1956 to George Jr. Randall and Barbara (Bobbie) Randall. Allan gave up a rodeo scholarship (true cowboy at heart) to marry the love of his life, Linda Oliver, in August of ‘74 after dating for six months. They were fortunate to celebrate their 50th anniversary in Tomball.

They were blessed with three beautiful daughters: Linda Hopkins Banner of Tomball, TX, Bobbie Randall of Spring, TX and Melissa Nantell of Amarillo, TX; and a loving son, Allan Dale Randall Jr. (Duke), who was killed in a tragic accident in October of ‘99. They were also more blessed with four grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren.

Allan dedicated his life to his family, working long, hard hours day and night in many aspects throughout his life.

He loved being on horseback, working at the feedlot, but he wanted more out of life for his family; so he went to work for an oilfield company as a shop hand cleaning up and painting rig equipment and he worked his way up the ladder into management, whereheandhis family moved around a lot.

They spent some time in Bakersfield, California, Hobbs, New Mexico and got to experience several years in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska. Then at the young age of 32 he moved his family to Houston, TX to become the senior vice president of the company of Bowen Tools.

After six months he decided that a suit and tie wasn’t for him. So he packed his family up and moved back home to Perryton. The company asked if he would move to Singapore and he told them no. So, he was laid off. He then moved on and hauled propane for a while, worked for the lumber company, the city, state and the county.

In 2017, Allan and his wife moved to Oklahoma where he worked for the county as deputy commissioner for two years. He chose to take early retirement in 2020, at that time he and his wife chose to buy a home near Canton, OK because they enjoyed the lake and fishing.

Allan enjoyed watching westerns, hunting with his wife, spending time with his daughters and grandchildren, traveling and cooking.

Allan is preceded in death by his son, Duke Randall; his parents, Jr. and Bobbie Randall; and brother Steven Randall.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters Linda Banner, Melissa Nantell and Bobbie Randall; one sister, Vickie Bell; grandchildren and greatgrand children.
