STATE BOUND The Ranger cross country team is headed to the state meet after a second place finish, behind number one ranked San Elizario, in the regional meet last week in Lubbock. Perryton, who is ranked second in the state, was just five points shy of winning the event. This will be the first time since 2015 the Rangers will run in the state event, slated for Nov. 23-24 in Round Rock.
