Jeannie Hale
Diana Jean “Jeannie” Hale, 74, of Perryton, died June 2, 2026.
Services were held Friday, June 5, at Church of Christ, with Billy McCallie and Mikel Petersen officiating. Burial followed in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born Oct. 16, 1951 in Matador, and married David Hale on April 20, 1974. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She also worked with the Miss Wheatheart and Little Miss Wheatheart pagents. She was a member of the Music Club in Perryton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Hale; one daughter, Natalie Hale-Gonzales; her parents, Ray and Billie Hopkins; her brother, Tony Hopkins; and one grandson, Schuyler Gonzales.
She is survived by her children, Nerissa Rigdon, Noah Hale, Nick Hale, Nolan Hale and Neely Tarango, all of Perryton, and Nathan Hale of Las Vegas, NV; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
